Steve Markel is the founder of Families of Character. He serves on the Archdiocese of Denver Finance Council, The Catholic Foundation Board and Investment Committee, and the Priest Pension Committee. Steve spent 21 years at American Funds as Senior Vice President. American Funds is a subsidiary of the Capital Group, one of the oldest and largest money management organizations in the U.S., managing over $1.5 trillion at the point of his departure. Steve and his wife, Nancy, have organized and developed parenting programs in the Denver area over the past 15 years.
