Sherry Weddell
Sherry Weddell co-founded the Catherine of Siena Institute with Fr. Michael Sweeney, O.P., to equip parishes to form lay Catholics for their mission in the world. Sherry created the first gifts-discernment program designed especially for Catholics, and she currently leads CSI's international team of leaders and facilitators who have formed over 85,000 Catholics in 105 dioceses in the art of evangelizing post moderns in gifts and vocational discernment and in understanding the theology and mission of the laity.

God has no grandchildren: Evangelizing post-modern Catholics
"A sower went out to sow...some seeds fell on good soil and brought forth grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." Matthew 13:3-8
Our spiritual climate has changed dramatically. How can Catholics successfully pass on the Faith in a world where religious identity is primarily chosen rather than inherited from one's parents? How can we help cultural Catholics become passionate intentional disciples of Jesus Christ?
WORKSHOP PRESENTATION:
Friday 11:00 am
Setting the Whole World on Fire!
A introduction to discerning charisms or spiritual gifts: ways that all the baptized are supernaturally empowered by God to be channels of God's love, truth, beauty, wisdom, and provision for others. Discerning and exercising our charisms are essential to the new evangelization as well to discerning and answering God's call for our individual lives.
