Stand Firm in the Faith
“Be courageous, be strong. Your every act should be done with love.” 1 Cor. 16:13-14
"To enter the door of faith" says Pope Benedict XVI "is to set forth on the journey of a lifetime." To stand firm in faith, amidst a world experiencing a crisis of faith and morality, is to live according to the Gospel, and to present the radical vision of that life to the world. To stand firm in faith is to boldly proclaim a New Evangelization- to be salt and light to a world standing in darkness. To stand firm in faith is to pursue greatness in the face of mediocrity, and to pursue goodness in the face of ambiguity and evil. To stand firm in faith is to bring to the world creative and faithful approaches to living as Jesus commanded. To stand firm in faith is to live truth, beauty, and goodness-- and to live it with love.
